Fall is blooming!! The landscape is glowing with all the warm colors of the season. What wonderful weather to get out to enjoy!

The Morels are popping up all over the county bringing the first taste of spring!

Nothing is better than a side of Morels on one of Travis's delicious steaks from the meat department. A little slice of Garlic Bread, the grill sizzling and the Morels cooking!!! Yeah Spring!!

We have some wonderful precooked dishes in the deli department for your supper so you can enjoy your gardening until the last minute. The rotisserie chicken is great with a wonderful salad and easy to put on the table.

Flowers should be here on Monday to finish off your yards. Fuchsias and Petunias with everything in between to bring color to every corner of your landscape.

We have finally turned the corner into Spring. No turning back!! It is here with all the wonderful rain storms and thunder! The tulips, hyacinths and crocus are breaking ground. Winter temperatures are dropping once again! But spring is right around the corner. Snowmobilers and skiers are still smiling.

We are surrounded by lots of white fluffy snow still. The ski slopes are busy and the snowmobiles are running!! What a great time in Leelanau County. We are lucky to be surrounded by blue waters in the summers and white slopes in the winters.

I hear all the people talking about making their chili's and stews. Someone was even making Pasties. What wonderful aroma's in the kitchens!

Fall is here with all its color and brilliance!
The air is crisp, the leaves are changing and the apples are crunchy!!

The sounds of spring are here. I hear the birds singing one day to disappearing the next cold day !
There was a rumor of flowers in someone's yard but no specific location.
I know this is just one big tease but how I am enjoying it!!

We are tweeking the store to make it ready for the spring. Please excuse the cleaning and moving for the next few weeks. We will try not to inconvenience you in anyway. Let us know if we are.

Winter is once again upon us. We live in one of the most beautiful spots in the country. It comes with cold crisp mornings and lake effects snow.

It is time for the tempting smells of Beef Stew in the oven or Chili simmering on the stove. Surrounding us with the all the comfort foods we crave. Maybe a Hot Apple Pie in the oven.
